I share my thoughts on writing and story telling. I talk about why diversity and representation are important in all forms of media, including books, as I read from three of my novels reflecting current insights and how we should create the world we want to see.

Old Time Radio Hour – Halloween 2020
Remember back in the day when there were radio shows… you don’t… okay neither do I, but this year. The Bay Area Queer Writers Association (Find BAQWA here) hosted a Halloween Radio Hour. We have four new tales to tell, read by the authors themselves enhanced with sound effects and hosted by the talented SA Baz Collins. This year the following authors will be providing stories:
Liz Faraim – Find Liz here
R.L. Merrill – Find R.L. here
Wayne Goodman – Find Wayne here
M.D. Neu
SA Baz Collins – Find Baz here.
Enjoy these creepy tales.
Welcome to Bay Area Queer Writers Association. We are a group of local writers who support and encourage each other. The goal of the group is to create a strong visible writing community here in the Bay Area. We are based in Silicon Valley, but we have members from all over the Bay Area. This group is open to anyone who loves to read and wants to help support area authors. You don’t have to live in the Bay Area to be a member, you just have to love Queer books and enjoy reading. Join to meet authors and find your next favorite book.

As part of my responsibilities for the non-profit I work for, we host a monthly half-hour cable access show called, Change Lives for Good. The show dives into various issues around poverty and the solutions various organization put forth. Among other things, I write the scripted informational segments.
A new and exciting project I’ve been heavily involved in over the last couple of months is a series of PSAs called ‘Know your Rights’. Working on this project gave me the opportunity to expand my writing experience into script writing (as well as production, directing, set design, make up, and costume design). Considering the tight budget I’m extremely proud of the end product. Feedback has been very positive.
